Glock N' Load

What on earth is this?

Glock n' Load is the best described as 2010s indie game jungle juice™, with the main ingredients being I Wanna be the Guy, Give Up 2, a teaspoon of Hotline Miami, and a healthy amount of Nuclear Throne.

The game is a top-down roguelike, with a deck-builder adjacent twist; you'll be managing the loot pool by buying the drops that will then appear in chests and other loot tables. In other words, your 'deck' is the loot table, which you'll build manage throughout runs by trying to make rare items as common as possible!

What about the plot?

It's the year of 2027, and you've just received a letter your old friend, Above Average Joe. Quite frankly, you had no idea that the postal service was even still functional considering the outside world is basically an apocalypse now, but that's not the most strange part.

Inside the letter, he 'cordially invites' you (Sub-par Joe) for a 'formal chat' and to reconcile after your falling out all those two months ago. Although well meaning, you can't help but question:

1) Why does he want to see me of all people? I thought he saw me as 'common filth' in his own words..

2) How on earth does he expect me to casually trot across the entire planet to go see him in person? It's not exactly safe to do so nowadays..

3) What on earth is the suspiciously glock-shaped bulge in the envelope?

While you probably aren't going to find out the answers to the first two questions, giving the envelope a good shake answers the third question - the glock-shaped bulge was indeed being caused by a glock, which he says in the can be loaded with almost every ammunition type you might find out there..

With your curiosity peaked, you step out onto your porch and subsequently out in to the grassy fields of the woodworks, beginning your adventure!

This is currently a basic prototype version of the game produced for a college assignment, however depending on feedback I may end up fleshing it out into a full game :3

A - Hold R for 1 second :p

A - Either wait for the boss to arrive or hold R for 1 second, this'll be fixed next update I promise !!
